Last month, Joe Biden told donors that he had recently spoken with billionaire investor Warren Buffett about America’s role as a global leader. This according to a recent Bloomberg article.

“We have to refuse to postpone what America has to do, the work we have to do,” Biden said at the fundraiser, adding, “There’s nothing beyond our capacity.” He referred to a recent phone call with Buffett in which he discussed how the U.S. has the potential to “lead the whole damn world in a way no one else can.”

The article notes that Buffett has not endorsed Biden and “has stayed out of politics recently,” adding that this year’s letter to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders made no mention of the election or of the president.
