Abby Joseph Cohen, president of Goldman Sachs Global Markets Institute, tells CNBC that, while her firm doesn’t have the “rosiest” of outlooks, potential bad news appears to already be discounted in both the European and U.S. markets. Cohen also says that the U.S. economy is faring better than many of its developed market peers, and that she expects the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) nations to continue to post strong growth over the long haul.
