Shiller Talks Housing, Fiscal Cliff, and the Election

Yale Economist Robert Shiller says the housing market is showing positive signs. But, he adds, “The problem is it’s not a really strong positive sign yet.” Shiller also says the U.S. needs “to get back to a private sector mortgage market without government dominance,” and says that a balanced-budget stimulus program could still help the economy. And he talks about the Presidential Election, and why he thinks President Obama is not anti-business.
